Eric Liddell once said "God made me fast... and when I run, I feel His pleasure." I know God made me with many gifts, but I'm currently trying to realize that pleasure. Do I feel His pleasure when I write, when I counsel, when I play harmonica, when I record? I don't know. What does His pleasure feel like? Is it when you sense those gifts developing freely? Inspiration and joyous drive, maybe. I will continue to pray that the Lord make Himself and His pleasure known to me and evident in my life, so that I can place my focus where it is most pleasing to Him.
