While Jesus was in physical form on
Earth, he was our living, breathing example of righteousness. He is
still our example, as we read these gospel accounts, but it is now
the Holy Spirit who directs us in the way of righteousness. It's that
tug on the heart, that small voice in the back of your mind. It's the
quiet, mysterious thing that stays your hand, holds your tongue, and
gives you peace when you least expect it but need it most. Some call
it conscience, but it's far greater than a cricket in a top hat. It
is God working in us through His divine Spirit, compelling us to live in such a way to glorify Him.
