The Brainspider Affair review

What can I say? David the Good is my hero! No one writes songs like him, he's one of a kind, and that's probably a good thing. Otherwise, the world might explode. David has been putting out albums for as long as I can recall, and I've even contributed on a few occasions. And every time, every single time, he somehow blows my mind in the whackiest ways. This new album, "The Brainspider Affair" is no different. It is possibly his most mainstream album to date, but that's not saying much. It's still pretty far out there, if the title doesn't give that away already.
With a heavy pop-funk electro beat carrying a great deal of the album, "The Brainspider Affair" keeps its listeners on their toes. David shows off not only his versatile song-writing styles, but also his skills in remixing tracks. He ties in some old tracks here and there, along with some friends' recordings, and even simulates a total system crash at the end of one song. This is not your normal listening experience, but it is also not an experience you'll want to miss out on.

Some tracks to especially look forward to:
2- The Superman Song
5- Nothing Sadder
8- Publix
9- Captain Weenis
13- Eye of the Hurricane
17- The Fishheads of Envy
19- Restoration of the Spider Woman
